But Judy who is betraying whom…I think Body is real and is not betraying…just being what it can at best be given the choices one has been making through out the life and also what one brings in genes.. Mind is the culprit..lives in the unreal and expects everything else too to be like that…I am happy to see you back here and at Haiku Heights…

Ramesh,
Ah, you are right in that there is no betrayal. The body is but a temporary vehicle to connect our earthly “being” to our celestial soul. The mind lives in the unreal only because we are limited by our perceptions, our prejudice and our ignorance.

Good one … I had some difficulties with this prompt because English isn’t my mother tongue … so sometimes I couldn’t understand the meaning of some of the entries on Agile. So I looked with my heart and soul to write my comments.

It feels like a betrayal when that happens. I enjoyed your haiku.
