  1. Straddling the future and past sounds a little like both a bridge and a cross road – where moving means some change will evolve. The second haiku suggests that the change is a sad one!

      I so like your observation of straddling the future and past may be both a bridge and a cross road. I guess what will determine if it is a cross road or a place of stagnation is how soon we move.
