Dear Best Friend, Ida, Human Being.
Thank you for sending me these pictures you took. I’m sending you pictures I took. Your pictures are very beautiful but you are right . . . It’s good I live in the West.

I would make territory on this tree (when it’s spring)
Dear Freddie,
I loved the photographs! We are very fortunate that we don’t get snow. Your little paws would be very cold. You photograph beautifully but I am still jealous of the gorgeous view you have while walking. Buster said to tell you that all he sees is some grass.
Love to you!!

Dear Rosemary, Human Being,
Please don’t tell my Human Being but I don’t really care about any “view” above my nose. I make these pictures so she’ll keep going on walks . . . her nose is higher than mine.
Sincerely yours,
Freddie Parker Westerfield, CDT
P.S. Tell Buster he’s got the best view too.

My in laws in Eugene had snow, and some days colder temps that back on the eastern seaboard. Freddie, you could visit Eugene.

Dear Phylor, Human Being,
I could but I won’t. Don’t like the accommodations on cars, trains or airplanes. Prefer walking. Too far.

You could walk to Oregon for a cause — like doggie treats for all — wear a banner and raise money! Your human companion could walk with you or drive the RV.
The media would love the story, you’ll be on all the talk shows, then you can write a book about it.
Just a thought!

Phylor,
You are brrrrrrrrrrrrrrrriliant. Doggie treats for all! You can walk with me – I’m hypoallergenic. On the other paw, I think I’ll write the book first . . . so as not to waste valuable time.

Who will play you in the Hollywood glitzy movie and resulting tv series? Or, will you give acting a try?
After the book is a best seller (book tour?), everyone will want more! Sequels, movies, tv shows, Broadway, Shaw and Shakespeare festivals. Freddie — you and your human companion could be busy for many, many years!

Dear Freddie, you are very lucky your human is living on the right side of the divide:) Right now mid-morning it’s -9 degrees. The pictures were taken on a warm day….in the low 20’s.
Who would have thought low twenty’s would be considered warm..ha.

Dear My Best Human-being Ida,
Your pictures are very beautiful and are proof of what I remind my human-being every day – there is beauty in everything, if we look.
Thank you for going out in the cold to prove that.

P.S. I am grateful that I live on the right side of EVERYTHING.

There is also a South, a North, a Midwest, a Mountains (where we live and where it snowed 1 inch on Wednesday then was almost 60 degrees today so we have BOTH snow and green, well, mostly brown…) How do you get it to snow on your sunny SoCal pictures?
