Frankly Freddie – My Valentine Monkey

Dear Human Beings,

I’ve already had the best Valentines Day.  Auntie Susan brought me a Valentine present. (It was actually a belated Christmas gift because she forgot me at Christmas – I forgave her because she is sometimes forgetful and I love her.)

Me and Monkey

Monkey and Me

I needed this monkey because I gave  Moosie, which Auntie Lyn gave me last year, a lobotomy.

Moosie resting after having his brains stuffed back in.

I hope you get a monkey for Valentine’s day too.

Heartfully yours,

    • Dear Becca, human being,
      Happy Valentines-Day-is-Every-Day to you too.

Monkey is very cute but is very lethargic and just lays around. Periodically I have to toss and shake him to wake him up. He may eventually need a lobotomy.

Thank you for noticing how cute I am.

      Respectfully yours,

  1. Hi Freddie!
Mom let me lick the ice cream spoon for Valentine’s Day. Little did she know that I am lactose intolerant. Now maybe next year she will get me a new friend. I’d rather have that. All of my friends need surgery (which she forgets to do but I know where the hospital bag is).
    Happy Valentine’s Day!

    • Dear Buster, Canine Dog,

Buy lactose free ice cream or ice cream made from coconut milk – verrrrrrrrrrrrrrry tasty. My human just stuffs the innards back into my menagerie so I can go right in and don’t have to expend unneeded energy making a surgical cut. She’s thoughtful that way.

      Respectfully yours,

P.S. Tell your Mom not to wait for next year . . . everyday should be a day of love. We canines have been trying to teach human beings that for eons. They aren’t very quick learners . . .

Know what I got for Valentine’s Day? Nothin’ Yup, that’s right. My Mommy did say Happy Valentine’s Day and gave me a treat but that’s it. She better be saving up for my birthday which is in 2 days. Here’s hoping. Love, your friend, Lexi-Pro ❤

    • Dear Lexi-Pro, Canine Dog

You didn’t get a Valentine’s Day present because your Mom is unable to leave the house because she is snowed in. I am sure that she bought you many many presents for your birthday before the snow fell. If she didn’t, you KNOW what to do! . . . you’ve done it before.

      Sincerely yours,
      Freddie Parker Westerfield, CDT
