Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Feeling indignant for taking the fall
For high blood counts & cholesterol
But when all the king’s horses
And all the king’s men
Reversed their decision yet again
He knew he didn’t want to be
Bacon & eggs for breakfast, you see
Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
All the king’s horses
And all the king’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty together again.
So let’s get creative
Don’t pine or beg
Make your life tasty
You’re still a good egg.
Check out The Bardo Group. They’ll “. . . celebrate A Poem in Your Pocket on Thursday, April 24, when everyone is invited to share a poem here and/or a piece about a favorite poet no matter the poet’s time or place.”

Oh I love a good egg! I Love Eggs, From my head down to my legs, I Love Eggs….
Glad they aren’t as “bad” for you as once thought. Since I don’t eat meat any longer, eggs are a bigger part of my diet. I’m sure taking out so much saturated fat makes the eggs I eat balance things out. ha.
