Jacqui,
For me, believing we are not alone creates a paradigm shift of how I think about “human significance”, world community and the purpose of it all. Somehow believing we are not alone helps “throw” me out of my “I” into the “we”. Don’t know if that makes sense but I don’t know how else to put it.
Rosemary,
I like your image of shaking their heads!!!! I do believe that the aliens who are more advanced than we are have probably shaken their heads loose by now. Those who are less advanced are too occupied with their own shenanigans!
Hi Judy. I’ll be wandering around your site soon. So glad I found it. *: )
As for the stars – our human nursery, a whole lot of zeroes ago.

Shari,
Good to have the likes of you wandering. Bring a compass because my blog has no sense of direction.

Does it matter if we’re alone? Or not alone? Would I think any differently if I knew for sure one way or the other? Hmmm…

I am more than a hundred percent sure that we are not alone in the entire vastness of space… It’s a waste of space if we are the only one.

Ompong! “It’s a waste of space” – That is the BEST argument I’ve EVER heard for not being alone! I agree!!!!!!!

I don’t know whether we are alone in the universe but if we aren’t? I’m sure they shake their heads at our shenanigans at times!!
