Dear Aunt Jane, Human Being,
Thank you for sending me this video. It’s obvious that this dog is performing solely out of fear of being stabbed by the thing on her head. Otherwise, there’s no explanation for it.

Dogdance Freestyle – Sandra & Lizzy
Freddie, it’s called a pas de deux, meaning steps for two, and is considered most romantic in ballet, full of longing, passion, and devotion. You might be more of a tap dancer, fast, clever, and energetic. Dancing is fun, for canines and humans.

Dear Sharon Bonin-Pratt, human-being,
You are very astute. Even though we have not met I am much more inclined to tap and rap. My longing, passion and devotion are reserved for important things in life like doggie treats.

I’m sure you could do all that and more, Freddie P, if you were so inclined. But, being the super intelligent being that you are, you have decided to forego showing off your talents so blatantly.
Well done!

Dear Auntie L, Remis Mom, human-being,
Well said! That dog obviously needs to spend more time on training her human-being rather than performing.

Dear Freddy,
Although I agree with you about the stabby thing on her head being scary, I think that the dog seemed to enjoy she performance. Maybe she got ice cream as reward, and well, who of us wouldn’t do an interpretive dance for ice cream. Just a thought.
Thank you for sharing this.

Dear Lisa MollerUnit, human being,
That dog isn’t very smart because I’ve figured out how to get ice cream for a lot less expenditure of energy. It’s all in the eyes, not the feet (or feat).

OMG! Is that a Border Collie? If I ever have another dog, that is what it will be. They are smarter, more intuitive than we are.

Chuck,
Not sure they are smarter or they would have put humans on a short leash a long time ago . . . but I agree about the intuition!
